On January 9, 2026, QIS carried out corrosion inspection using a combination of MFL and PAUT at a petroleum storage facility in the Central region of Vietnam.

The project was conducted under strict safety requirements, aiming to provide a comprehensive assessment of the metal condition of storage tanks and piping systems in compliance with API 653, serving as a solid basis for detailed repair and maintenance planning.

In oil and gas facilities, corrosion is a major hidden risk that directly affects equipment safety and service life. By combining MFL for rapid screening and PAUT for precise sizing and characterization, QIS delivers a complete and reliable picture of asset integrity, enabling informed technical decisions.
